America and Israel thought they were going to kick the little kid on the schoolyard and instead what they did was open Pandora's Box - once you push Iran past the point were they would "do the thing that fucks everybody else", they're not going to just back down.

Well since ships bound to China were travelling through it since the start of war in bigger numbers than even before it's fair to say that it was another US lie.

The US could totally be lying but if I were mining a strait I would do it such that passage is still possible but only by exposing the ship to shore fire
