everything I know about the fae tells me to run away.

however that would be rude to the frog, so if anyone needs me, I'll be in the fae realm trapped for eternity while a changeling takes my place. If anything, I feel bad for the changeling. but no backsies

"Hahaha, now you're stuck in the fae realm forever! You now have no material possessions aside from what you wear, and you'll be stuck in a place with no discernable social order! You'll live at the whims of the most powerful beings, and some of them are... rather devious! You'll never return to your realm!"

"Only some of them are devious? I'm debt free? You're damn right I'll never return!"

Debt free in the fee realm? Unlikely. Its just not material debt.

That made me realise that there is a parallel between fea and mortal and a lord and bond. If a mortal eats fae food they can never return to the mortal realm, much like a peasant is tied to their lords land in exchange for keeping some of the crop to eat.

I don't trust strangers, hell, I often don't even trust people I see everyday.

I would trust this frog, though the toad might be upset it's using their stool.
