White House privately asks Republicans to stop talking about ‘mass deportations’ as public opinion turns on ICE

White House Deputy Chief of Staff James Blair has reportedly urged Republicans to shift their messaging about President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda.

During House Republicans’ annual retreat in Doral, Florida, this week, Blair privately encouraged lawmakers to stop focusing their messaging on “mass deportations,” according to Axios. Instead, Blair reportedly suggested lawmakers focus on the deportation of violent criminals.

Following the report, Blair shared a message on social media voicing support for Republicans’ immigration agenda.

focus on the deportation of violent criminals

Just as ICE has been doing, right? All those people charging their cars in Minneapolis without the right skin color - all of them were suspected violent criminals when ICE started asking for their paperwork?

They aren't shifting their views, policies, or actions though.

Just the 'messaging'.

That's the only D vs R difference, "messaging".

Thank you for your comment, it helps me identify and block trolls - I appreciate the help!

But these assholes RAN on this and that's what a whole lot of their base voted for. Are they going to pretend this is some other party's fault?

It's a very small chance of messaging from "mass deportations" to "deporting violent criminals". With no changes in the mass deportation of people legally here.

Meanwhile, they’re also buying warehouses to be used as concentration camps. Probably shouldn’t mention that either.

Those are for the future Federal 13th Amendment Slave Laborers.

You don't have to just worry about losing your job to AI or Robotics, you could also lose it to a SLAVE.

When slavers have to choose between economic success and maintaining slavery they always have chosen the latter. Make no mistake, any economic benefits will be used to subsidize the establishment and maintainance of violent dominance.

Or become a slave, seems just as probable. Why do they need the capacity to detain millions of people if they are supposedly deporting all the criminals.

2

Exactly. They just need a lot of criminals, so they make things like homelessness a crime. Sure, they detain people, but they have bed to sleep in, a roof over their heads, and meals. In exchange, they have to work off their room and board, and learn basic societal behavior. What kind of a monster can object to that?

And then the unemployment rate gets too high due to AI and automation, and they make unemployment illegal. If you expect to collect unemployment, you'll be expected to work for whomever the government leases you to.

Too much debt? Off to the camps, where you will work off your debts for the government.

Only through the sweat of honest labor can you truly appreciate the Freedom that America offers.

Arbeit Macht Frei.

Somebody should put that over the front gates of the camp.

Honestly, fuck the public for ever being ok with any of this to begin with.

I hate everyone so much.
