The director was at the screening when I saw it in Winnipeg, and answered questions afterwards. I love B movies, and I loved the humour in the movie - it definitely knows what it is.

The reveal of El Santos - the luchador - as Jesus' sidekick
God talking to Jesus through a bowl of ice cream
Jesus, in the middle of getting punched in the face, takes a moment to silently turn the other cheek
During the climactic final brawl, vampires are fighting Jesus in his home, and on the TV they see Jesus fighting in a junkyard - Jesus' response? I am everywhere
I am most likely misremembering some details, but this gem has stuck with me over the years - definitely worth checking out!
