"allowing for detention of noncitizens without bail if they’re charged with burglary, assaulting a police officer or other crimes"
Being granted bail after being accused of a crime but not yet convicted is NOT some special right only given to citizens. The laws of our country apply to all PEOPLE, not just citizens. The Constitution is pretty clear on that.
