Voices of the Void (VotV) is an early-access indie horror simulation video game. The player controls a scientist tasked with operating an observatory that detects radio signals from space. As time passes, the player experiences unusual events, such as encounters with extraterrestrial life.

Aliens making prank calls and throwing a flaming bag of poop at your doorstep, probably.

Not unlikely. The game is full of horror but also plenty of gags and memes

to clarify: it’s mostly psychological horror, a lot of the silly stuff is optional/easter eggs. either way a very fun experience! :)

It's a fun little indie game where you look for signals from space (and sometimes they look for you)

You can get it here if you feel so inclined :P

Haven't played it myself yet, but it's a fun watch when peeps like Criken and the Librarian play.

Awesome to see it get more popular.

I got started with all his Garry's Mod VR stuff and was hooked from there. Granted it to me two years after that to even boot GM up in VR lol

Would be cool to see VOTV in VR too!

Yassss!!! While I am more fond of the quirky side of VotV (the aforementioned Criken2 streams), the atmosphere of the game is something else.

yep! VOTV (and B3313, but that’s a whole other tangent) are some of the only games I’ve ever seen that do horror correctly IMO!
