Darn, it's even sadder reading the comments. The composer posted a comment just 2 years ago saying how there's a better version etc. and then 1 year old comments saying RIP Stéphane Picq. He died just a bit over a year ago from cancer at the young age of 59 :(

Four planets have come to our attention regarding a plot which could jeopardize meme production.

Planet Arrakis, source of the memes.
Planet Caladan, home of House Atreides.
Planet Giedi Prime, home of House Harkonnen.
Planet Kaitain, home of the Emperor of the known universe.

Send a third-stage guild navigator to Kaitain to demand details from the Emperor...the memes must flow.

Where are the Ixians, Tleilaxu (& yes, I know the Ordos doesn't really exist, but they are cool enough to be asked about)

I haven't watched the original movie in forever. I have read the whole series and watched the new movies... Need to give the David Lynch version another go. I liked it much better than the new one... which looks pretty but is stupid AF.

Do yourself a huge favor... Find a copy of the Spicediver Redux edit.

It's an amazing job of re-editing and splicing in cleaned up deleted footage.

Even Lynch took liberties with things like the Weirding Modules. However, I think he did a far better job storytelling and making the politics and characters stand out. The new films are pretty, but IMO the story falls flat and makes less sense.

huh, that didn't stick out to me, it's been awhile since i read the books.

i was more disappointed we didn't see any spice orgies though

There was like an early 90s Dune PC game. Is this from that? Reminds me of it.

I wonder how the inhabitants of a ringed planet get to orbit and stay there safely

Why are the D's in Caladan and Giedi Prime different? The D in Caladan just looks like a backwards G.
