The problem here is we have a meaningless brand name. No idea of the origins, cupping profile or roast level. Best you can do is ask them for these details.

Well, I wasn't going to go that far with this just yet. I am curious though.

Smooth, dark, sweet. Says so on the bag, and actually delivers. It also has some acidity to it.

Never heard of Blanchard's. You local to them? I hit their website and they have some interesting choices but I haven't mail-ordered coffee since back when Peets was good. Have you tried any of their other varieties? I was especially intrigued by "Dark as Dark". Worth an order?

I've drank both the Dark as Dark and Basecamp blends and can recommend giving both a try at least once

My brother in law got it from Wholefoods. He asked if I wanted to try a cup and well, I got hooked. I usually drink 1 -2 cups a day, but the taste on this has me going 4 cups a day.

Do you know if this is widely available at Whole Foods or is it limited to the Virginia area?

I'm not in Virginia. I'm in Maryland, so there is that. If its not, get it from their site.

Thanks for posting this, I tried a bag and really enjoyed it! My favorite dark roast is Zekes Festivus roast or Zekes Bird City blend (when it isn't Festivus season). Since you're in Maryland I assume you know Zekes. Thanks again!
