Finally, David J. Peterson—creator of Dothraki and Valyrian for Game of Thrones—has shared his work on this episode, with the full lyrics and their translation made available. He also comments that he was very pleased with Danny Webb’s performance and pronunciation, allowing for the fact that Ser Arlan’s supposed to be roaring drunk.
I wasn't sure while I was watching, but I really liked how they brought Ser Arlan into the sequence. Telling a little story of Dunk as a parallel to Egg. I would have loved to see more fighting from Lyonel Baratheon, but this is Dunk's story (and Egg), so they deserve center stage.
And of course the Baelor reveal. I knew it was coming, but it's so hard to watch.
Well, all the buildup and this didn't disappoint, we'll see if the season finale can exceed this but I doubt it. The combat was visceral and well done, reminded me a lot of armored MMA except for the weapons being much more deadly of course. I wonder if they've taken some cues or had advisors from that scene here.
I was watching the final conversation … on the couch, knees up, bracing myself.
Also i like that they made the fatal blow connected to a father freaking out about his son - adds to the brutality and “accidentality” of it.
Finally, all that singing was … Dothraki - at least according to subtitles ?

Yes, I also hope we see more about Lyonel, too good a character to get almost no air time this episode

I am sad these episodes are so short…
