Something I'm still waiting for data on: is there a difference between different plastic types when it comes to micro plastic concerns? Rubber is mostly isoprene which does degrade naturally to an extent. Other shit like ethylene, styrene, vinyl chloride etc all have wildly different properties and varying rates and modes of degradation.
I thought this was known for a long time already

We don't even know what consequences come from all of them as a group let alone separate components.
It'll take a while to really figure out what this exposure does to us.
You say "let alone" as if analyzing each of them one at a time is harder than doing that and then also summarizing their commonalities.
Yet again "Fuck cars" and fuck the pedo-petrochem billionaires who've poisoned this planet by lobbying for the infrastructure to be everywhere.
I must be just dumb but how come it's microplastic when it's rubber?
