GOG giveaway: Alone in the Dark trilogy
GoG is giving away the Alone in the Dark trilogy for the next three days. As usual, claiming the game automatically subscribes you to the GoG marketing newsletter, but you can simply go to your account page and unsubscribe again.

I could not possibly care less about GoG’s marketing emails. They all go into a Port87 label that is set to mark them as read and not notify me.
Not a feature unique to Port87 of course. But yeah that's one way or handling it. Or just click unsubscribe.
Though it’s not technically unique to Port87, I haven’t seen any other email service that lets you do it with simple toggles. Sieve is more powerful, but also harder.
Either way, I don't know why, but if I don't want to read email from a certain source, I just feel cleaner if I don't receive them at all. Why receive shit just to put it in storage. Seems wasteful. It's stored on actual hardware somewhere. Not a lot of course, but all them giggerbites add up yanowutumsayin?
