Lonely Trump Humiliated as Major Allies Refuse to Be Bullied

archive article: https://archive.ph/mAhWM

not a single representative from Western Europe or North America attended Trump’s “peace board” signing. Representatives from the G7 were conspicuously absent, as were the original BRICS countries, and most of the G20. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Neyanhu wanted to be there but couldn’t because he’s wanted by the International Criminal Court for alleged war crimes, the Financial Times reported. Israeli President Isaac Herzog was in Davos but skipped the ceremony...

can't be humiliated when you have no shame...

The pedophile raped children with his best friend epstein for fun... of course he has no shame. He's a piece of shit.

You have dealt a rather serious insult to actual pieces of shit my friend.

I often think there is no insult to trump that doesn't insult that particular thing... the worst possible thing I can imagine is better than it. Even dehumanizing him to it isn't enough. I just wish it can be completely devoid from existence at all.

Today on a post about a woman who enslaved a mentally challenged girl for 25 years, someone said "she's a real Trump", and I found it perfectly fitting.

"I may be a piece of shit, but at least I'm not a Trump!"

3

Its true. Shit promotes growth in plant life and trump has forced the EPA to unban cancer causing herbicides.

4

I came here to say the same thing. Trump can't be humiliated, he's a narcissist, you have to be capable of feeling shame to feel humiliated.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Neyanhu wanted to be there but couldn’t because he’s wanted by the International Criminal Court for alleged war crimes

The way this is phrased would be fucking hilarious if it wasn't the tragic reality. They're saying it like it's "I'd love to come to your barbecue but I can't because I have to work that day!"

"Sorry, bro, I'm wanted by the ICC for war crimes."

More like, I can't leave my house because of this stupid court order and gps anklet.

No, cause in that case trump wouldn't be able to go the barbecue, and it's his shindig

Sorry, I missed the part of my early childhood education where they taught proper humor etiquette

Well but also his alternate representative didn't show up either. So it's somehow even worse than that!

He ran for president as a way of running from his many crimes

And it worked perfectly. Even if imprisoned today, he’s got like… weeks of life left in him? Hell, he’s already on borrowed time but Satan is keeping him alive because he’s such a useful idiot.

Don't underestimate the staying power of the nastiest people on the planet.

Dick Cheney was a bitchass genocidal motherfucker and even he still made it to 84 after going through like 2 hearts. That stupid cunt refused to die, fueled by pure hatred.

As Rimmer said after kicking the grim reaper in the balls: Remember, only the good die young.

IIRC countries make contributions to the UN too, but it's more transparent about where the money goes and not quite as lopsided in terms of power balance.

(Yes, the veto powers blocking shit are annoying, but on the other hand, that's what keeps the UN a forum for negotiation rather than an object of power struggles over who gets to control it.)

I wonder if Netanyahu paid the 1 billion or if he just said to take it off the next repayment Trump needs to make ..

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Neyanhu wanted to be there but couldn’t because he’s wanted by the International Criminal Court for alleged war crimes

His best friends all have really good excuses.

26

He's only got a roughly 12 second memory, so he won't be humiliated for long.

Hey Emmanuel! Hey Mark! Come on in. There's plenty of room. Sorry, not you, Donald. Why not? [boy points to sign, "No Donalds Club"] But you let in Donald Tusk. [Tusk pops head out window] Hyuck hyuck! It says no Donald_s_. We're allowed to have one.

19

Glad these guys are showing this douchebag how it's done.

Too bad we have so little of this domestically.

Keep it up. The way to deal with a narcissist of this clowns caliber is to ridicule and mock and to not EVER cave. Let him see how much everyone disposes him. He can't handle it. This is an idiot who has a personal assistant who literals PRINTS OUT good news of him to read. How fucking pathetic and weak is that!

13

He literally has a “safe space” the way South Park imagined it? Poor Butters, going through all his shitty news just to find the rare, delusional comment in Trump’s favor.

Got any other mirror available perhaps? Archive.ps gives infinite captcha and requires apparently disabling dns over tls to access.

Edit: original src worked in reader mode. Good read

Didn't NATO just agree to hand over a bunch of Greenland real estate for new American military bases?

-20

I'm just repeating what I read other places, but I understand the US already had extensive rights to set up military bases and Trump did what he always does which is light a bridge on fire to get what he already had or worse.

22
lemmy.world

Oh sure. If the US State Department or Joint Chiefs had gone to NATO through normal channels, this wouldn't be news. I doubt anyone would even know we were expanding our military footprint in Greenland. Now its this enormous pain point for Denmark, for NATO, and for the US Pentagon.

But the idea that Trump has somehow lost clout is predicated on the notion that the other NATO states had grown a spine. Turns out they were even less serious about defending Greenland than Trump was about invading it. As an opportunity to call Europe's bluff, this really was a win. Trump got to announce "I'm going to do what I want and you won't stop me" and confirm the rest of NATO would not stop him.

I'm not following this 4D chess.

Bully says "I'm going to push you down and steal your lunch money."

Kid says "If you do, I'm going to call the teacher."

Bully: "Teacher won't care"

Kid: "Teacher!"

Teacher: distantly "Don't fight, you two."

Bully: "See?"

Kid: hands over lunch money

-12

There was no lunch money handed over.

What actually happened:

Trump: "I'm going to attack a NATO country"

NATO: "You shouldn't do that"

Trump goes golfing.

You: "4D chess!!!"

15

The US bases are already sovereign territory, but sure, it's great if Trump can be satisfied with getting what he already had. Apparently all it took was for a grown up person to explain it to him.

There's a reason why we're allies. We allow shit.

Greenland being like: "You can sleep on my couch any time buddy."

Trump is like "Don't call me buddy, I demand ownership of the couch, and I will fight you for it!"

Greenland "Calm the fuck down, the couch is your's to sleep on already."

Vance just staring at the couch.

7

Doesn't sound like it, seems the only one rambling about that is the confused elder who's unsure whether it's iceland or greenland he wants.

"Based upon a very productive meeting that I have had with the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, we have formed the framework of a future deal with respect to Greenland," he said.

He did not give details, but said talks would continue to reach the deal.

Rutte, for his part, said he had not discussed the key issue of Danish sovereignty over Greenland in his meeting with Trump.
