Are "foil" containers like this ever recyclable?
My local guide doesn't seem to indicate https://www.minneapolismn.gov/resident-services/garbage-recycling-cleanup/recycling/accepted-recycling/recycling-guide/
I searched "foil" in this subreddit to no avail
Those are usually more plastic and some sort of pfas like coating than tin and to my knowledge not recyclable.
I hate these things. They are multiple layers of different materials, making them next to impossible to recycle.
SunChips tried to make a bag that was more “earth friendly”, but it was taken off the market for being too noisy. 🙄

Does your recycling company/service have a number to ask? Its almost certainly not recyclable but you could ask. They ARE recyclable now in special facilities that chemically separate the layers, but very few WRFs accept them.
Im in a place with a pretty advanced recycling system and I still have to deposit them at a special dropoff location for them to be recycled.
The other option is using Terracycle but it costs money (which I mean, recycling does cost money but the costs are either hidden to the consumer or a small profit can be derived from the materials so its a fair price).
