It is his mouth, which doesn't exist. Like drawing Voldemort with a nose.

In addition to fucking up the character it also fucked up the standing in a line and facing off to the side theme by having Dilbert stare into the camera.

The ‘99-00 cartoons gave him a mouth, but I think they disappeared it when he wasn’t talking.

So via in universe canon this is actually a photo in the middle of him talking to Trump and Vance?

11

Maybe he's just smiling for a photo. It's hard to show that he's smiling without a drawing a mouth, I suppose

Hey, though, it did have Trump staring off into space while Vance and Dilbert look at the camera (albeit the former looks like he's begging the photographer through clenched teeth to take the shot before he shits his pants). So it did capture some of that dementia.

Edit: Wait, I just noticed that there's something obstructing the frame in the bottom right. Whyyyyyyyy? Like I understand why the GPT did this, but how did they think this was acceptable?

So after all they have posted, this is what you expected them to be unacceptable??

Any reference on Voldemort's nose from the books? In the movies, he didn't look at all like I had imagined him but I might have overlooked something

Dilbert looks like a fucking horror character.

Also I love how he's in the background of a tribute to his own creator, as if Vance and Trump are like "Look at us, we're more important!"

Scott Adams died? Well, good for him, he stopped being a shitty person.

I'm not quite familiar enough with Dilbert to be able to tell which "defining detail" was fucked up. Any hints?

It's the mouth. He doesn't have one. Ever. This is extraordinarily consistent. I have rarely seen a strip where Dilbert visibly emotes (let alone happily), and never one where he has a mouth for that. I almost can't even find something stupid enough to compare this to. It's like Mario with a shaved mustache, except even worse because of how integral Dilbert's lack of a mouth is to his characterization as somebody who's never listened to.

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm excluding the 1999–2000 TV sitcom. You can't make your main character mouthless without severe drawbacks when you have to animate and voice him; it's practically a necessary compromise. Even then, from what little I remember of the show, he was never beaming like this.

after a quick glance at some other dilbert images, I think it's the mouth? it seems like the "real" one doesn't have a mouth

This Lemmy post is, however, an excellent way to find out about it. Thanks!

Shouldn't he be standing next to Charlie Kirk?

12

Not to mention, you'd have the perfect urinal right there with you!

Did he ever helped him to get the experimental drug Adams was pleading him to help with?

You reached the end
