Android app UI issue

I updated to 2.43.7(?) A few days back. I noticed today that when I view any post, the UI ends up zoomed away a little bit. Almost like I'm in app switcher mode. I'll add two examples in a moment.

Normal

Weird

This is not reproducible now that I created this post, but the last twenty minutes, I've been messing with navigation to make it go away, and the only thing that worked was force close and reopen. Now it's not doing it. Shrug...

I’ve been having what I believe is the same issue on iOS. Dunno which version it started with and I’m on the beta, but it fits the entire content within the phone’s display instead of how the content is typically displayed zoomed in to the corners get rounded with the display’s rounded corners. (Hope that made sense; it’s hard to explain)

This is a known issue that the dev is working on. I think the current workaround is to change the app theme from "iOS" to "Android" (unsure about other theme options).

On Android it's called Device Mode in the System section of Settings > Appearance > Themes.

Edit: I made this setting change earlier and the above was my first chance to test it. Can confirm: changing the theme to "Android" works on my Samsung phone.

Thanks. I'll test drive that setting a while. Seems fine so far. I never noticed that feature when it arrived, and honestly wouldn't have chosen Apple on purpose. Thx again
