Judge presiding over Netanyahu corruption case killed in highway collision
Judge Benny Sagi, president of Israel’s Beersheba District Court, who presided over the corruption case against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was killed in a traffic accident on Route 6 when a vehicle struck his motorcycle.
Police said the vehicle had been driving off-road, entered the highway, and collided with Sagi’s motorcycle, according to Israeli media.

Wow, Netanyahu's corruption case is going to have to be delayed again for the 900th time. Such fate.
I'm sure it's just a coincidence.
*Traffic incident
Accident implies it wasn't on purpose
Crash is usually the term used, at least it was when I worked in the field.
Ok yeah, that's awfully convenient, but also, you'd think a judge was smarter than to ride a
donor-motorcycle.¯\(ツ)/¯ How could that have happened
Next up: watch for the cctv cameras around The Hague to go down for a firmware update.
The climate controlled cars, drive thru food and endless streaming shows successfully ensured that good people do nothing.
Yes, of course, a "traffic accident" - how perfectly convenient.
How Putinesque.
I think assassination as a political tool is a few millennia too old to be just a putin thing.
I mean... That high of a profile, and your riding around on a motorcycle?
Haven't you ever seen an action movie? Motorcycles make the coolest escapes because they can go down market streets.
I find that any hobby that will kill you for inattention is a great way of taking your mind off worries. Motorcycling provides that for me; I suspect flying would have too if I'd had the disposable income to stick with it.
"traffic accident"
He got Diana'd
What, they couldn’t find an open window in a tall enough building?
Was there no window nearby??
That's Russia.
Israel's go to is traffic accidents.
Traffic collisions are much easier to make look like a real accident. This, however, looks an awful lot like an assassination with a vehicle.
There was a window of opportunity.
