Slade - Sladest

1973 greatest hits release by one of the most underrated bands in fucking history (at least where I’m from). If you’ve never heard Slade you’ve probably heard Quiet Riot whose breakthrough hit “Cum On Feel The Noize” was just a worse cover of a Slade song. It worked so well for QR that they tried it again by covering “Mama Weer All Crazee Now”. I will buy any Slade record I come across that I do not already own. Slade fucking rules. LISTEN

In the UK most people these days only know them for ‘Merry Xmas Everybody’, which is easily one of the most played (many would say overplayed) songs of the season.
