This is one of the reasons I really like the lore dive in the Knights of the Old Republic game.

You get down into the deep Sith philosophy, and yes, Sith evil, but there actually IS a deep ideology behind it where you can understand what they're going for besides cartoonish evil for evil's sake. An unrelatable and vile ideology, but an ideology nonetheless.

Disney would never allow someone like Revan or Kreia to exist in canon movies. Especially Kreia.

That being said, TV shows (like Andor) are seemingly writing their way there. Hence the Rakata reference.

Why is Obi-Wan center?? Wouldn't it make more sense to put Mace Windu there?

He was, canonically, very close to the Dark Side. His lightsaber style in particular delved into some aggressive territory for a Jedi. It was only because Master Windu was a master of his own desires and emotions that he was able to maintain such clarity and focus when most would have gone over. He was Qui-Gon's twin, as far as Old Republic Gray Jedi were concerned.

Windu was not only a badass, but likely would have been the only Jedi who could have understood Anakin, and it kills me that he only would have 'won his respect' for turning in Palpatine in the hours before the Republic fell.

Master Windu was awesome. And I still think it's hilarious that Samuel L. Jackson didn't want to voice him in a cartoon because he didn't want a cartoon credit on his name, even though this was hands down Windu's most badass curbstomping of all time.

Source for him not wanting to voice a cartoon?

Jackson did voice Mace in the animated clone wars movie. And the year before voiced two characters in Afro Samurai, a project he helped bring to fruition. And has been multiple others since.

I like that the witches and the force gods or whatever exist in star wars as well and other miscellaneous force entities, more than just a silly good vs evil debate.

I'm tired of all these motherfucking Sith lords in this motherfucking Senate!

The force is about balance so we need a thriving sith faction.

lolol... it's so like real life... one side is actually helping people, imperfectly if so... the other is dedicated to evil and doesn't hide it. and people can't tell the difference fml
