The Ashes: 4th Test, MCG, Boxing Day 2025.
Australia have already won The Ashes series after winning the first 3 Tests.
The Boxing Day Melbourne Cricket Ground Test is an annual event where legendary heroes and villains are born.
Australia hasn't been able to field their top team all series, and are without captain Cummins and top spinner Lyons. Batting changes are also expected with the return of Steve Smith.
England may make desperate changes to try and win.
10am-12:30pm AEDT will be compulsory viewing for cricket nuts. Who wins the toss and whether the bowling team can break through in that first session may determine the result.
But a Test is 5 days, and so far England has shown to be incapable of winning a Test in 2 days, 4 days or 5 days.

Geez I am not liking this opening. 3.4 overs in and we've had some scary near misses, almost run ourselves out, and half the runs aren't even off the bat.
The first 30 minutes aren't compulsory viewing then?
I always think Australian Eastern Summer Time. Which is wrong lol
Labuschagne getting really into the national anthem there.
And by the gods, it's a bad anthem, but they managed to make it even worse than normal here.
What am I supposed to do for the next three days? Just rude.
I feel guilty. My Pathfinder group had a game on the 23rd, and we scheduled another for the 29th. I was secretly hoping the game would be a short one so that I wouldn't be distracted by the cricket during our game. Guess I got my wish...
Australia copping a Tongue-lashing.
Though you have to say the batsmen have been getting themselves out.
Well that was a shit first innings.
My group chat is split between my dad's faction (an eternal pessimist), saying at the worst it's looking like England wins by an innings and. Or at the very least saying they're miles in front. And another mate's faction (he's an extreme optimist), saying "early days", and "Scott Boland is about to tear through the top order".
Unserious cricket. Batsmen from both teams don't care. Nephews and cousins were playing harder in the backyard yesterday.
"Did you see that ludicrous display
last nighttoday?"The series is over, so the teams have agreed to get the game over quickly and have some extra golf and beach days 😂
What the hell was that, Khawaja? And I don't want to see Labuschagne batting for Australia again.
Neither of them should be in the team anymore. They're past their prime. I suspect Khawaja will be asked quietly to retire after Sydney. Labuschagne might be given another chance, depending on how he does.
Not a fan of Green. He bats scared.
Watch his back foot. Backing away to the leg side all the time. Or he moves his whole body away from defending his wicket, which is worse.
He shouldn't be in the team. Time and time again he puts out mediocre performances.
I think he must have dirt on the selectors.
He's the token dude under 30 who is "a generational talent that they will build the team around for the next 20 years".
Or not.
Where was you when Test Cricket die?
I was eating Chrissy leftovers while sucking down some beers and settling in for another 3 days.
"Test match over in 2 days again"
"No"
