I'm a 33-year-old guy*** with facial hair, a wife, and kids. I started seeing a gender affirming therapist a couple months back. Hoping to start talking to my wife about HRT soon. So far she's been very supportive but this next step is... Big.

For reference, my egg started cracking this past summer and fully cracked in October. You're welcome or I'm sorry if I've caused something to crack for you.

I had a beard down to my navel this time last year, and I'm 39.

I'm a big fan of egg_irl because the subreddit (ew) gave me the courage to undertake an open-minded exploration of my gender identity.

Ultimately I concluded that I'm cis, but now I'm confident enough in that identity to enjoy some traditionally 'feminine' things that I found I like without worrying about it somehow harming my masculinity =)

I don't see the problem with the wife or the 40 years old thing. At least not related to this; might not be great if you wanna run a marathon.
