I actually looked up whether "snowblowed" was a word. There is no true consensus. Urban dictionary's definition is a little different than the message I was trying to convey so that was no help. Altho it does sound intriguing (the one that does not involve cocaine). I figured everyone would get the point either way.

All human written languages are subordinate to the spoken language, with the exception of constructed languages like for software programming. In the convoluted uh mismashed uh, flexible language that is English, even when a word is supposedly misspelled, if it can still convey the sounds of the spoken word, then it can likely be understood. And that's the ultimate goal of a language: to convey thoughts to others.

I personally do not subscribe to the notion of prescriptivism, which believes that the dictionary is the final authority of words in English. However, the dictionary does serve as a reference, so people who heard the word "ornithology" can look up what it means.

TL;DR: humans have error correction capabilities

the only way I can think of that sounds correct in my head is "blew the snow off of" but that makes it sound like a double entendre

It bugs me that snow blower sounds as lame as leaf blower when it’s actually 10x more awesome.

There are few things I like more than putting on my headphones, making my ears bleed with some metal, and snowblowing the driveway. It's so loud and peaceful at the same time.

Meanwhile it's gonna be 80 degrees here in Austin. Merry Christmas!

Honestly, I'll take our -20C and snow over that. I can dress for cold, if I take off enough layers to stay comfortable at 80F I'll get arrested.

And a long driveway! Even with a snowblower, with that much snow it probably still took a while! ❄️

I know it's not the takeaway, but that picture is perfectly framed. I wouldn't mind having this poster-sized on my wall. Nice job on the 8-hr snowblow and on the nice picture to showcase it.

I love me some skiing and snowboarding and what not. But I'm so glad I live somewhere where I don't have to clear the driveway.
