Little pumpkin passed away at the vet last night after a battle with parvo his little smiling face :(
Last friday I noticed he wasn’t eating so I tried to make him some chicken. He wasn’t eating that either so I sent all four of the foster kittens to the vet and turns out they have Parvo pumpkin sadly passed away yesterday. Hoping the others make it 🥺 this is the sad part of rescuing and fostering but the silver lining is at least he got to have some love before he passed away.

It’s so mentally taxing and painful. I just keep trying to tell myself to imagine the outcome if I hadn’t stepped in and that’s what keeps me doing it because each time a foster rescue passes away you just live grief again.
It looks like the world lost a character. It's a good thing that there are people like you who will give them love.
