It depends on my mood, but I quite enjoy "Christmas Crack" (otherwise known as saltine cracker toffee, apparently), shortbread, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, pomegranates, and mandarin oranges and consider them all to be specifically holiday/Christmas snacks.

My wife introduced me to Christmas Crack which I love but my favourite Christmas treat is mandarin oranges.

During this time of year (holiday season) ... mine is fruitcake ... the darker, heavier, thicker - the better for me. But only as a treat once in a while, otherwise I'd end up with diabetes by New Years. My mom used to make her own basic recipe this time of year.

There is a supplier in Canadian stores from the east coast that I like ... McFadgen's Bakery in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia ... they make a variety and the best to me is the deep dark brown cake.

The other food we've enjoyed that we learned about from our Italian friends is ... Panettone ... which local stores used to supply with great big cakes this time of year but over the past three or four years, the supply is less and the cakes are smaller. Toasted with a bit of a butter was always a treat.

Perogi. Every Christmas I get together a big group of my friends and we make 200-400 perogies. Everyone who helps gets a share to take home. It's a great tradition and they taste amazing.

I love it, but...snack? That's a filling snack.

Gotta be peanut brittle or peppermint bark.

My favorite fall/winter snack is probably ginger cookies though. I'm not a baker but I spent weeks perfecting a recipe for those because what I am is addicted.

2

Gevulde kerstkransjes. Filled chocolate wreaths you hang in your Christmas tree.

Reindeer mix is our family's Chex mix blend. It's a savory snack. This is not to be confused with the sweet muddy buddies people make, that's different.

Pizzelle! I might not celebrate Christmas, but I'll eat all the food! And those are my favorite. Mostly the vanilla type!

I’m not sure I’d say snack, but apple dumplings; and I suppose mad elf ale

Spekulatius! It may be called speculoo in english, but it doesn't have an english wikipedia page so I'm not sure. It's a dutch spiced biscuit and I love it, could eat it all year round.

Spekulatius and speculaas are different. Speculaas is much nicer!
