We know. Glad a "report" has said it now though I guess.

Now how do we make them do something about it?

But surely if I vote for a different slate of captured politicians that will create great change

Does it? Didn’t work in England, France, America, Germany, Russia…

Yeh, you're right actually. In England the seat of power is still the monarchy and not an elected parliament, same in France and Russia, America is still a British colony, the German democratic Republic still exists.

Idiot.

America became a colony precisely so their own rich could revolt their rich masters

2

I'm not even sure what you're trying to say.

American became a colony because the people who lived there already were vastly technologically inferior to the Europeans who wanted it for themselves. It stopped being a colony when the descendants of the original colonists got sick of being ruled and taxed by a foreign king.

The change on regime was the result of a bloody revolution. Whether or not the regime change was ultimately benificial to the average American is not under debate. Power corrupts, and history is cyclical. The point I'm making, and the only point I'm making is that if you want to enact a regime change, a bloody revolution is a proven way of achieving it.

1

The revolution in England was rejected and a constitutional monarchy instituted. In France, the revolution lasted 20 years before Napoleon I reinstated the monarchy. In Russia, the revolution lasted barely 8 months before the Bolsheviks siezed power. The Weimar Republic ended in 1933 with the coming of the Third Reich.

Oh yeah - 1812-1832 was a very peaceful period in Europe, with plenty of social calming. I forgot that.

Next time, vote for a party that wants to tax wealth, not work. Talk to anybody and everybody you can about taxing the ultra/uberrich. They are the biggest problem on the planet at the moment.

2

I mean America figuring this just now is hilarious but England just figuring this out is fuckin tragic.

What??? The place with a monarchy and literal aristocracy is????! What madness! What PREPOSTEROUSNESS! IT SIMPLY CANNOT BE!

I hope this doesn't go the way of Peterloo. Though we might get another Charles Grey, which would be nice for once

You reached the end
