Wasted money on junk xiaomi phone

Today I bought Xiaomi 12 pro for 100$ (a lot of money for me) it's considered a "flagship phone" by xiaomi back in the day, but after I got it home tried to unlock bootloader but it made impossible by xiaomi (I did checked on LineageOS site and see that the phone is supported with my model number that's why I bought it), you have no idea how much I wanna throw it to the brick wall but I need a phone for work I spare it for now but when I got my old Pixel 3 fixed I might have a little "fun" with it.

Try uniherz. Black Friday sale. I have the jelly star. Best phone I ever had. But they make lots of good ones for cheap.

I saw that github list while browsing a solution just to find out it's pretty much near impossible my heart sank after that, man I hated myself for not doing enough research if I did I probably saw that list sooner 😭, just because it's listed on LineageOS site doesn't mean I can put a rom on it

Man Xiaomi were simple to unlock but their process was shit. Had to request and give a reason why you wanted to unlock the phone, then wait for a code to unlock the device. Pixel and Nothing look to be pretty simple so that may be something to take a look at.

MIUI was a fantastic rom for my Nexus 1, used it for until I cracked the screen on that device. Sad its gone the way it has.

yeaaa I know the feeling. I remembered getting the cat S52 last time, and expecting the company to unlock it as previous ones.

they did not...

Wait what? I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G, and I was able to unlock the bootloader earlier this year. And I unlocked the bootloader in HyperOS 1, not MIUI (which has fewer restrictions on unlocking the bootloader)

You reached the end
