Can't believe something as basic as having my bullets work in my 70 dollar game is something I can't even take for granted

note: I'm not arguing either are good/bad or better/worse than each other, I'm just saying that if I buy a 70 dollar multiplayer FPS I expect my bullets to actually work. its been 43 fucking days, DICE, fix your shit.

I thought everyone worked out buying at launch was a dumb idea years ago?

They will keep releasing unfinished games for as long as you keep buying them.

People did, but being first on the cool new fad is a social addiction. Also, people will buy and eat a pile of shit if it's marketed well enough.

Still annoyed as hell a lot of people just don't care about the issues various people are having with BF6's hit detection, which seems to be at complete random depending of the player's ISP, because "MUH CINEMATIC ACTION MOVIE MOMENTS!!!"

People should really stop playing the same stuff all the time. And this is not a critic to the players of "this" or "that" game. This is the reality of the Franchising Enshittification.

I bought at launch and am glad I did because my friends all moved on to arc raiders already. I don't really have any interest in paying a game that limits you to parties of 3 but ironically now am in a party of 1

You say this, but…I had a challenge to deal shotgun damage. I had a raider 10 feet away, put him entirely within my crosshairs, fired, still died: Zero progress on shotgun damage.

Ok? And I've had some hitbox gore, but I had fun in the first few weeks, so what's the problem?

Basically having the same problem as the claimed Battlefield issue. So many shots going nowhere, leading to death being an inevitability.

Every multiplayer shooter franchise is like that my guy, just play what you think it's fun 🤷

THE FINALS has entered the chat

The GenAI voice acting genuinely turned me off that game :/

I hate that game. Every 'top' player just zips around at Mach speed and spins around everything.

Lol - I wish could say I'm surprised people are butt hurt by your comment. But I'm really not. Insert 'quit having fun' meme, right?

Yeah like... A lot of people out there like Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons, a lot of bands/music artists that are kinda generic, and also a bunch of TV shows and games that CAN be considered "generic"... like, sometimes you just want bread and butter, you know?

Sugarbush Simulator 2000 and Moose Battlefield 6?

moose Battlefield 6

That's gotta be more horrifying than WWI itself, I'd rather not.

I’m out of the loop here, been playing bf6 since the beta.

My shots kill people.

You got lucky... A lot of people haven't, it's pretty much completely RNG depending on your ISP. And my internet is not slow at all (500 Mbps down/250 Mbps up fiber with a decent ONU) so I'm just confused.

It got a LOT better after the last update, but the fact it took this long is absurd.

This is the first I’ve heard of it tbh 🤷

That said googling it just now brings up a lot of info, so guess I have been lucky

Yeah it seems to be a desync between client/server that can happen depending of your ISP. I once turned on the event graph and recorded an entire match on OBS while trying to get in as many gunfights as possible. I had 153 client hits (AKA hit markers that went off on MY end) but only 98 server hits!! The server ate almost TWO entire magazines of hitmarkers...

You reached the end
