Like I had to block a com that was just some guy with a bot reposting a bunch of shit from Reddit, because it kept shoeing up in my all feed. I’m curious, because I bet that has to be the most blocked com on Lemmy.

Unfortunately public life tends to rely more and more on Internet services. I think the right to remain offline needs to be established, otherwise there is no chance of checking out like that

I see what you mean. Yeah I've had to block some bot and just plain weird comms.
The nsfw stuff is filtered by that toggle, yeah, but only if the person creating the comm checks it.
I've been feeling more and more that I want to quit the internet almost entirely.
Like you can't get away from it completely and gaming is still fun but all of the social aspects have either become slop or incredibly toxic.
