Would it cost that much to replace these real penguins with robot penguins? Or even 3D projected penguins? Maybe even a rotating weekly gallery of different artifical penguin.....things

Animatronic penguins? An absurd amount. But any video replacement would involve rehoming the penguins, which is expensive. Even more so if they're not habituated.
Only EngLAnD would keep themselves in this looney ass wacky predicament. I bet those single slice loving penguins are behind this.
