Made a titanfall-esque movement system for my silly little kitty in Godot 🐱

Been using the Rust bindings for Godot and finally settled on a nice workflow with a good combination of Rust and Gdscript 😺 just wanted to share somewhere! 😸

That was hands down the funniest thing about this video - when he turned around and had a fully realized butthole I couldn't stop laughing

Could this lead to future in-game accessories for said butthole?

Thankies! It took me longer than I'd like to admit to get their lil buttholes lined up just right on the model/texture!! 😹

This looks fun. But you can't drop 'titanfall-esque' and then not have giant mechas. At least have a bonus round where you blow shit up with cat lasers in a neko-mecha

Now we want a cat mech game. But the cats never actually fight they just get very close to each other and then go, mrrrrrrrroooooo

Neko-mechas might be a bit above my current 3d modelling abilities, but kitties getting close to each other and going mrrrrrrp is, naturally, already implemented 🐱

I love Titanfall's out-of-mech experience, so this looks great. Don't forget the ground slides as well.

Even if you just made some time trial gauntlets, this looks like it would be really fun.

7

Sliding is planned! Will likely be belly slides because I suck at animating 😺

I should probably try to replicate the gauntlet for funsies...

Does it float because it's a balloon cat or because of the jetpacks? 😸

6

The Mobility Enhanced Operator Wearable Pack, or M.E.O.W Pack for short, grants kitties extra aerial manouvering power and adds to their advanced catculated acrobatics.

He is just a normal (silly) little kitty 🐱

You reached the end
