I agree that we shouldn't look at sunk cost, but I can't help complaining how foolish the decision is

The draft is always a gamble anyway... we lost on drafting Trey, but we won on drafting Purdy. The fact that we've been competitive on the field throughout Trey era really takes the sting out of the picks we spent to bring him here.
pats fan messaged me this morning offering a 4th…thought he was joking. really wish they had kept lance around, was hoping to finally see him on the field with CmC at some point this year.
most frustrating part is definitely that he’s a cowgirl, they traded him and now i can’t even root for him! dammit.
