Niniane decided to jump onto the gas stove while i was making coffee this morning
Fortunately she only got her coat singed so no real harm was done. My apartment smelled like burnt hair all morning, but i now feel very vindicated in yelling at them everytime they jump onto the stove. In her defense, i have been out of town all week and she was very excited for her breakfast this morning,as normally it is my tortie that i am normally yelling at to not jump onto the stove. She likely has some radiation burns on her left side, but she wasn't on fire after running off and seems fine now.

Safe to say she won't try that again. Are her paw pads okay?
I think so. She landed on the oven handle so i think it was only her side that was exposed to the flame. I have only found singed fur on her face and shoulder.
She DEFINITELY will not be jumping on the stove ever again. The other cat os probably a different story

She's really such a sweet girl. Tabbies tend to look angrier than they actually are since they have their permanent angry eyebrows. She's back to her normal self, climbing on my shoulders and cuddling up whenever i sit down to read or watch tv
