[Discussion] Task (HBO)
Anyone else watching HBO's Task? What do you think?
I started watching last week and finally caught up with the latest episode (ep 5). I personally like it. There is only one plothole I'm annoyed about, but I think overall it is executed well. Acting is also great.
I binged from ep 1 to current over the last two days. episodes 4 and 5 really pulled me in, but I was already enjoying the acting and story enough to rate it positively.
if you don't mind my asking, what's the plothole that you're annoyed by?
So the biggest issue for me is no one from either side bothered to check Cliff’s acquaintances when they found out he was casing the houses under the guise of his garbageman job. The feds checked Peaches’ workplace and the Dark Hearts questioned his family (violently) yet no one thought to check who Cliff was connected with.
I the time line of the story, they have only been aware of Cliff for 24 hours…
Also go look up the definition of a plothole.
it's ok. it's well done but the story isn't really grabbing me yet.
Yeah I have been watching it religiously and like pretty much everything Ingelsby makes it is excellent.
