What's the cheapest TIG unit that actually works?
I'm about to have to replace my trusty Miller 225 mig welder. I think I would like a TIG for finer detail welding. I rarely weld anything thicker than 1/8". But I'm on a mac-n-cheese budget right now. Are any of the sub $500 TIG machines actually worth it?

I dont know if they ship to the US but a stahlwerk welder is what i usually recommend for the budget conscious European. So yes, you can get good TIC machines below 500$ especially when you get a used one.
