I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I really need help finding a piece of art
Okay team, here's the deal. I'm looking for a piece of art I desperately need as a reference. I could have sworn I had it downloaded, but I can't find it anywhere. The art in question is two astronauts in full space suits in an otherwise wild west scene. They've just concluded a high noon duel. The angle is such that the loser of the duel is crumpled on the ground in the foreground, and the winner is standing in the background. The winner is wearing a brown bandolier, and their gun is still smoking. The loser of the duel has red smoke pouring up out of his now shattered visor. I remember there being a big red word across the top, like a comic book cover or something. Any help here would hugely appreciated. If there's another community for this kind of thing please direct me to it. Thank you all!

I don't know it, but some other info that might help someone ID it would be:
You could also try ![email protected] - it's quieter, but it's intended for this sort of thing, so you never know.
Good luck! 😁
It looked very much like a comic book cover. Full color. Both astronauts were helmeted with good visors. Even the one that had a slug punch through their visor was only black with the red smoke coming out. It was within the last two years I saw it, but I don't know if that's when it was made. I cave remember for sure where I saw it, but it was probably reddit. I did try going back through my saves though, and didn't see it.
Also, do you remember what platform you saw it on?
I'm guessing reddit, but I couldn't find it on my saves so I'm not sure.
That sounds like Space Western (a subgenre of science-fiction.
Maybe cross-posting or asking the community will help: ![email protected]
Good luck!
I know this isn't an answer that Lemmy will like, but if you're going to use it as a reference, an AI image generator might be able to reproduce it close enough to be usable.
It might be a good start to generate an image and then try to reverse image search? I hadn't thought of it, but who knows.
