If it's big enough news the other % will see it. We live in multimedia age afterall.

I didn't realize they were blocking it though. That's hilarious. Fuckem.

I thought it started with his firing? It didn't seem like a show buildup at all. Just bam he's fired.

It was a little behind the scenes.

They're trying to get the right to own a higher percentage of local syndicate markets than is legal.

Edit: That article doesn't really get into it but Nextsar was the first to take Kimmel off the air before dit was ABC-wide.

A few distributors (Sinclair, namely) refused because they’re malicious

I laughed my ass off at the bit where he plays the Trump clip saying "Kimmel was fired because he had no ratings", and Kimmel: "I do now."

Fucking comedy gold.

Attempting to do something, failing spectacularly, then taking credit for it anyway is completely on-brand for him

and he wouldn't be wrong. half the country buys Trump and the other half the country buys anti-Trump.

He absolutely should never have been fired for any kind of comedy bit

But but nothing will make him funny. His delivery is just so canned, no originality.

So many other good comedians now it is.... And the spanish co host gives me try hard vibes

It kinda looks like the gentleman from the laughing meme.. Is that him with more teeth?

Same for Stephen Colbert. With the bend guy that has the fake laugh, it's just so forced.

It's like the networks forced it on them to be my more diverse and connect to a larger audience. It only works if you're funny. You can't fake funny.
