Especially for young kids, there is next to no difference until like mid puberty. All of this is just an excuse to target queer kids and young girls that dont fit the mold.

Even as adults, the differences are not nearly as extreme as they are made out to be. Thats why olypmic comittees have historically allowed trans people to compete with their gender after only 2 years of hrt.

The actual unironic reason behind split teams is that fragile men don't want to be shown up by women. It's why even in stuff that has literally no physical component they split up men and women. This entire farce is just a way to keep women down. With the boys teams not being intrusively checked girls should genuinely just join the boys teams. Itd be a good way to learn about political action if nothing else.

Edit: also, it should go without saying but these are not good times; trans women are women.
