I never watched Buffy as a kid, but my older brother did and I once saw a clip of it when I was walking through the room. In that clip, what I now know was a vampire knocked on her window, only for her to observe something like "I'm on the fifth floor."
As an adult I'm unbothered by this (I rarely go above a second floor and you could pretty easily climb to any of the second floor windows), but as a kid that scene stuck with me for some reason and it scared the hell out of me any time I remembered it.
