DIL has pupped out 2ndkid, and had surgery immediately after for other issues. Both doing fine. DIL's mum is present and will be doing the 1stkid wrangling from now on for a bit. So I'm not needed. Thank gods for the German health care system - it's been a joy to navigate compared to here.

Blood test results came back after a fair few years since my last one - no deficiencies, no other issues at all. Clean bill of health! So I will be cheers’ing to that tonight.
Taking the Minipeelers and MrExPeeler to the Aquarium tomorrow. Never been before so it should be fun! Still exercising daily and managing a minimum 6,000 steps per day. No doubt will do more than that tomorrow!

Partner says it's a Spitfire but spitfires don't look like that, and Google lens says it's a US moth except they're not in Aus
Went to Sweet By Nature in Heidelberg and picked up some bulk brownie offcuts and some mini new York cheesecakes. Unfortunately two very tired boys banged their heads on the same table and would not calm down so we had to leave early
Wind on rubbish collection day is always fun. I picked up a bunch of wrappers blown into the corner of the yard, but Mr Woof made off with an empty chocolate wrapper before I could stop him. It was a catch and release, I can now see it blowing around the back yard. I also picked up the instructions for how to install hybrid floor boards that have presumably escaped from a nearby building site.
Boyo: I had a late lunch, I don't think I'll want dinner tonight, so you have whatever you want.
Brain: Cheese!!
Me: No, you're organising the cheese plate for tomorrow night's party.
Brain: Eat cheese!!
So I'm cooking cheesy pasta as a compromise with myself. Annoying I've been craving salmon all week (which boyo won't eat) and my brain went nah, I don't want that anymore.
My place has 8 jizz trees in the garden - four in backyard, four in front yard. Someone was obsessed. The front one's are starting to jizz up now and they're extra smelly.
I strongly recommend Linux Mint Cinnamon Edition, I've been exclusively using Linux distros for years, Mint is the only one that for me just works how I want out of the box and stays working.
Doing some rough and quick sewing to try and make one of the pairs of de-elasticked trackies wearable. It has a fold over casing so might be salvageable.
The others have separate casings that are cut too narrow so I might bung the original elastics back in when I get time and donate them.
I need to empty this mending basket as part of decluttering
