Absolutly deserves this award and many more. The show is fantasic and it would not be the same without him as that character.

I have a bigger respect for Emmy than the Oscars. But I am surprised as well that it took so long for Emmy to award a black man for best supporting role.
This and Britt Lower's wins are totally deserved, and I'm not even a fan of the show.
I think I read somewhere else that his character was supposed to only be a minor character, but due to his acting performance the script was rewritten to have him more involved.
William Jackson Harper didn't win it for the good place? That's a shame.
