o.0 I have overheard that conversation enough times to know it isn't true. I have been part of that conversation (and left it) enough times to know it's endemic among even the sort of people I am friends with, and I'm choosy about friends.

Its really not abnormal to talk/tease about partner's sizes, assuming they're not the sort to be hurt by it.

Women do seem to say everything with no filter and sometimes say "oh you guys talk about the same things" when called out. We don't. Some do and I class those men as dickheads. Most I know about my guy friends sex lives is if they have a new partner, broke up, and maybe if they had sex yet. Random women on public transport? Basically everything. I don't want to know.

I have a gym membership since January, and believe it or not, absolutely no change what so ever. No more muscles. No more strength.

If this continues, I'm a walking down to that gym myself to see what the f is going on.

Diet is part of it too.

You'll need to train not a day or two, but three per week at least. And everyday half an hour of moderate exercise (a walk for example) helps.

Eat a little-processed Mediterranean diet., ie. lots of vegetables and some seafood, proteins.

Start small and don't dive into the deep end. Do that and you might find sticking to it easier. When you're a complete beginner the bare minimum amount of work is enough to start seeing results in a few weeks/months.

Only go hardcore blood and guts later on if that's something you really want. Willpower/motivation is a finite resource, so making exercise absolutely miserable from the very beginning is a good way to fail after a week or two tops.

do not underestimate that. I married so far above my weight class just because i can cook and make her laugh.
