Can you eli5 how this disorder manifests itself in you? Is this something that you've always 'had', but became more apparent post-accident? Or was it then that you became aware of it?

It developed over time. From when I started sexual feelings from age 9-10 until I was 15. I have an addictive personality and I have a very short time preference. I'm drawn to easy short term pleasure like alcohol, drugs and sex.

I started seeing a therapist after I got into an unfortunate accident. Maybe it's the fact I'm always somewhat horny and it's hard for me to focus on anything else other than sex/people I find attractive.

Sounds like the struggle of teenage boys :)

Boys/men tend to have more libido in their day to day life

careful when you say that, some radical feminist will shout at you and disagree that actually women are more horny, they just don't show it.

though yes, from my own empirical observation, i agree with you in 99% of cases.

That's kind of my point, its no different than testosterone fueled boys...other than they usually grow out of it. Girls can experience it too, with testosterone levels high, or like you say a situation that involves the brain.

I mean, that's how I feel most of the time, too. So I just put my efforts into becoming more attractive so those people will want to fuck me / keep wanting to fuck me.

Now that it has been identified, did it answer or resolve any past situations or incidents?

Do you see this disorder as an obstacle or problem still and will it cause you any problems or will you have to take any precautions going forward?

Does it bother you now that you know?

Do you feel that disorder is an appropriate label for it? Or maybe just how do you feel about it being labeled as a disorder?

Do you think your enjoyment of sex would be better or worse without it? And why if that's not asking too much.

Hope that's not too many questions, was trying to think of what someone else who might have it might be thinking of that stumbled upon this AMA.

Thanks for sharing!

What behaviors or experiences caused you to explore the idea of it being disordered rather than just atypical? How was it disrupting your life?

As I've already said I didn't know it was a disorder until I got help for unrelated reasons. Now that I look back it was unhealthy. It was all I could think of. I remember how I would get horny randomly and I would jerk off at least four-six six times a day..

I think most boys had phases with similar numbers.

I used to think that being this sexually active was normal. I now understand I have something fundamentally wrong with me and I need to find other things to occupy myself with.

This sounds so sad. I hope you manage to keep love for yourself. There's nothing wrong with you. The universe just had to nerf you for being too awesome!

Are you sure an alien wizard hasn't just cast a spell on you?
