I can commit to generating APKs for releases. I might set up some CI in the future to just do this automatically. I'll look into this tomorrow. Unfortunately this app is not open source.
I came across your app idea but sadly could not find it on the Play Store. I'd love to download the apk file to see what it's like - at least until it's allowed again in the Play Store.

It's on the playstore. However the app is in open beta. Beta apps are unlisted. You will need a link to download it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.idunnololz.summit
