Just started watching One Piece
After watching the live-action adaptation on Netflix I decided to check out the anime.
I'm watching on Hulu so I might not be able to see all the episodes but that's okay since it's so long anyway 😂
I'm in the Alabasta Arc as of writing this.
I've tried 3 times and I can never finish it lol I love it, I really do, but after like 400 episodes over a couple of months I "burn out" and by the time I want to try again I start from the beginning and get to around the same parts lol
The problem is the enormous amount of recap in each episode. The One Pace project is far more watchable, and like 25% shorter.
I switched to the manga around Amazon Lily and really only watch the films now haha.
I understand that. I'm usually scrolling on social media when watching TV and it seemed like a good show to have in the background.
Alabasta is one of my favorite arcs :)

The world building is on another level. I think Zoro is my favorite character so far.
Same thing happened to me when it first came out. I love one piece.
If you wanna save your time, I would suggest you to watch One Pace which is a fan made version of this anime. That version just all unnecessary scenes, recaps, filers etc. You watch it on their own site, just search up "One Pace" on Google.
Not interested in that one sorry. I have Zero problems watching the original 😀
You have no problems watching more than 1k episode with big recaps in each episodes and slow pacing? Well, I guess it's your choice to do as you like so okay
I skip the recap and theme songs.
