Britain to prosecute more than 60 people for supporting banned pro-Palestine group

More than 700 people have been arrested since it was banned as a terrorist group in early July, including 522 people arrested at a protest last weekend for displaying placards backing the group – thought to be the highest ever recorded number of detentions at a single protest in the British capital.

Decades down the road people will, rightfully, wear this kind of persecution as a badge of honor.

Great use of taxpayer money. Definitely nothing better to spend it on and no better people to be taking legal action against.

Maybe when it all turns to shit, Yvette Cooper will be forced to resign. It'd be nice to be rid of her. She's always been highly authoritarian, as well as a generally obnoxious, entitled, time-serving waste of space.

Stopping people being slaughtered is more important than being able to put 2 specific words together.

The only excuse is if the arrests make the anti genocide protests more prominent.

Which it kimd of does. News on the arrests and progress of the prosecution is keeping this in the news cycle way longer than the original protest.
