Me in my mid 30s struggling with loneliness, drifting away from old friends because half of them have children and the others are bigoted assholes I'm tired tolerating, dreading to try conventional dating methods because surely all the normies will see me as a weirdo instead of a human being:

eh, will fix it next year :3

I’m mid 20s and kinda over dating for a bit. Maybe when I’m your age I’ll give it another go.

Pro tip: normies don't exist and most people want you to succeed

yeee I knoow, but in my corner of the world 90% of non-terminally online population will have a "ew, pervert" reaction to any queerness. Half of them will change their mind to "I guess its not bad" after you talk to them for a while, but this shit is tiring yo. Local gay scene is also very opinionated about how I don't fit there.

obviously painting with a wide brush there's plenty of cool people, just not raring to meet the non-cool ones

Oof. Yeah that's dumb. Eh, if you can find one then mutual aid groups are usually a good bet to find rad queers!

That's actually smart - you at least 100% know that the person shares your habbits and some interests

I mean, I'm just a guy who occasionally lols at the memes on this comm, but I feel like I'd date anyone here

So I was in the forest, no wait I was somewhere before, and then I was here... Wait a second, where is my satchel?!

using dating apps to meet someone in the real world versus remembering you eventually have to talk to people through dating apps

You reached the end
