100 gecs is one of my favourite bands and I'm just now learning that Laura is trans 😅 Kinda dope actually that I've followed them for years and haven't seen anyone misgender her or otherwise be transphobic.
I guess that speaks to the type of person that listens to hyperpop, haha
I figured it out the first time I listened to "dumbest girl alive". It struck me as a story about a trans woman feeling awkward after transitioning, and I googled it and sure enough she was trans
