Feature Request: swipe back to middle of comments
One of my favorite Apollo features was I could be in the middle of a deep comment section. Swipe back to the homepage, then swipe over into where I left off in the comments. I believe this was handled by edge swipes vs swipes from not quite the edge for up/down votes. No idea how it remembered location.
Love the app! Really made the transition to Lemmy much easier.
I think that was swipe forward right? You can either swipe back or forward and that was my my favourite thing about Apollo too.
For now I’m just happy that swipe back works. I’m sure one day swipe forward will be implemented!
100% agreed. It was a feature I relied on constantly in Apollo. Also swiping left/right on the button area at the bottom of screen did the same thing, which was super useful when using the phone one-handed.
I didn’t know that about the button area!
I’ve found myself trying to do this in all the apps, just out of habit from using Apollo for so long haha

Another vote for this. I keep doing it out of habit and I have my fingers crossed one day it works!
