Some of my family members survived the Holocaust and concentration camps solely on care from specific guards or captains. My only hope is that a lot of people get $50K to infiltrate and fuck over ICE
I feel like you would be weeded out pretty quickly. You can't get to a position where you could do actual internal damage without committing some pretty heinous shit. LE is basically blood in blood out.
So what's the best way to go about clogging up their application system and bogging down their ability to hire?
Probably apply in earnest with no intention of signing up.
Sign up, get hired, break everything, blame everyone else for the problems, enjoy the fast track to upper management... End goal destroy ICE while collecting a golden parachute? THE AMERICAN WAY!
There are only 13,000 or so right now? Jeez, it wouldn't be that hard for a large group of us to just take them out then.
With how fucked things are just trying to make ends meet, its getting harder to villify everyone signing up. Are they doing the wrong thing? Absolutely. Has it occurred to me that joining would financially secure me and my family? Yes.
No, it's still very easy to vilify anyone willing to do that. You could resort to back alley prostitution, selling body parts, or crime before you were economically "forced" to join the gestapo.
Oh, oh! And let me guess, your defense would be "But I was just following orders!"
I see people mentioning “just following orders” a lot recently in terms of an invalid defense, but the sad truth is this excuse worked for an overwhelming majority of Nazis. Only those issuing the orders at the top were prosecuted, at least outside of vigilante justice.

I think it very much depends on the situation. If I’m already securely housed and have reliable income for food? No fucking way. If I have a kid who might end up living on the street (or honestly, taken from me by the state) if I don’t find money? I’d at least give this a fleeting thought.
