Jesus Christ. He was showing "too many signs of life" to continue the surgery? Isn't any sign too much? He was apparently trashing and they still wanted to go forward?

And how was he declared brain dead if he clearly wasn't? I guess since he OD'd he's just a junkie who doesn't deserve to keep his own organs?

This is the stuff of nightmares. Dystopian future is here where the wealthy can have a middleman group, that supply organs from poor people. The middleman just takes care of business
