Title is a misnomer, at no point was his life at risk because the ball never had enough energy to reach him on the swing back... Which of course was the point of the demonstration.
He really over-dramatised it, too.
If he'd given it a little push away, not just dropped it, (as he mentioned) it might have had enough energy left to bump him in the face. Probably not fatal though... exercise left for the student.
Alright now what happens if this happens in a vacuum?
The same thing, except the little bit of air resistance that stopped it slightly lower wouldn't be present.
The professor and all the students are killed.

That does sound about accurate to life.
And sends inappropriate messages to children who come to learn from him...

I've kind of learned after 20 plus years on various social medias... Honestly going back even before that, to the BBS days.
You just kind of realize after a point, not everybody's voice is equal, most people should just shut the fuck up and have no reason to ever be heard.
I honestly feel that no one should ever be shy to block someone if they don't like the bullshit, the tone, anything they say, the way they think...
Hell, block me if you don't like my loudmouth attitude!
